The School of Medicine Obstetrics and Gynecology department is seeking a full-time gynecologist with subspecialty certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. The successful candidate will: Provide ambulatory and surgical care for women with a variety of gynecologic conditions, with a focus on pelvic support disorders and urinary incontinence. Provide direct clinical supervision of residents; provide didactic instruction to residents; provide student lectures, seminar, moderation and clinical teaching in conjunction with the student curriculum devised by the Clerkship Director. Participate in the clinical research program developed in the department and facilitate recruitment of patients as needed. Provide direct patient care and gynecologic care to women in the emergency department and inpatient consultation. Participate in other clinical activities of the department; consult with the Chair on potential new OB/GYN market opportunities. Participate in productivity and cost analysis projects; work closely with the Curriculum Committee of MUSOM to ensure compatibility of departmental goals and objectives with institutional goals and objectives; explore new and innovative teaching techniques.
