The School of Medicine Obstetrics and Gynecology department is seeking a full-time gynecologist with subspecialty certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. The successful candidate will:
Provide ambulatory and surgical care for women with a variety of gynecologic conditions, focusing on pelvic support disorders and urinary incontinence.
Provide direct clinical supervision of residents and didactic instruction to residents.
Provide student lectures, seminars, moderation, and clinical teaching in conjunction with the student curriculum devised by the Clerkship Director.
Participate in the clinical research program developed by the department and facilitate recruitment of patients as needed.
Provide direct patient care.
Provide gynecologic care to women in the emergency department and inpatient consultations.
Participate in other clinical activities of the department.
Consult with the Chair on any potential new OB/GYN market opportunities and participate in productivity and cost analysis projects.
Work closely with the Curriculum Committee of MUSOM to ensure compatibility of departmental goals and objectives with institutional goals and objectives.
Explore new and innovative teaching techniques.
