We are expanding our Emergency Medicine team in Oakdale, CA, and seeking board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians to join our growing and collaborative group. The team consists of 6+ Emergency Medicine Physicians and 2.5 Advanced Practice Providers, providing 24-hour physician coverage and 10-hour APP coverage per day.
Hospital & Facility Highlights:
5 ICU beds and 30 Med/Surg beds. Radiology, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI available during daytime hours. Established specialty support services to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver emergency medical care in an acute care hospital with a 12-bed ED (all private rooms) and 4 fast-track beds. Manage an annual patient volume of 20,579 with an average of 2.1 patients per hour and a 4% admission rate. Collaborate with specialists in anesthesiology, interventional radiology, cardiology, general surgery, mobile crisis psych, orthopedics, pediatrics, and wound care. Support the hospital’s transition to a Level 4 Trauma designation (expected 2025/2026). Work 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.), with full-time at 120 hours per month (part-time options available).
