Pediatric Intensivist - Billings, Montana. The Division of Pediatric Critical Care at the University of Utah School of Medicine has openings for Pediatric Intensivists in Billings, MT. The Pediatric Intensivist will join the faculty in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care, Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine, with clinical responsibilities centered on the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings and coverage of pediatric ward patients during weekday hours. The Intensivist will share unrestricted nighttime call for pediatric intensive care patients and may travel to Salt Lake City to perform clinical time (2–3 weeks) in the PICU at Primary Children\'s Hospital (PCH); services may also be provided at PCH via telemedicine. There is an expectation for scholarly work outside of clinical service, including education, investigation, administration/service, and advocacy.

The PICU at St. Vincent\'s Hospital serves a large geographic area, including Billings and surrounding communities. It is a 5-bed unit with an adjoining pediatric ward of 11 beds. The team includes Board Certified critical care pediatricians in the PICU and pediatric hospitalists/community pediatricians in the ward, providing life-sustaining therapies and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical care in the PICU at St. Vincent\'s Hospital, Billings, MT. Cover pediatric ward patients during ordinary daytime hours. Share in unrestricted nighttime call for pediatric intensive care patients. Travel to Salt Lake City for clinical time (2–3 weeks) in the PICU at Primary Children\'s Hospital; telemedicine services may be used for PCH care. Engage in scholarly activities outside clinical service, including education, investigation, administration/service, and advocacy. Qualifications

Board-Qualified/Board-C Certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Eligible for a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Utah School of Medicine, on either a Clinical or Tenure track, commensurate with experience. Benefits and Environment
