Local Team Collaboration: Join a close-knit team of six physicians and two APPs, supported by a clinical performance nurse at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. Our team includes two hospitalist physicians and one APP during the day, with one hospitalist physician at night. We actively participate in hospital committees, emphasizing community involvement. Qualifications:
Graduate degree from an accredited physician assistant program. Board-certified or eligible with NCCPA. Experience in acute care preferred. Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
Work a 7-on/7-off block schedule, with APPs working day shifts from 8 am to 6 pm. Key Responsibilities:
Manage your own patient load and admissions under physician supervision. Utilize Cerner EMR and Sound Physicians’ informatics platform. Conduct phone consultations with specialists at regional hospitals, supporting independent practice. Participate in regular team meetings (monthly or bi-monthly). Living and Working in Red Bluff:
Located in Tehama County, between Sacramento and the Oregon border, with a population of around 14,000 on the Sacramento River. Known for agriculture, charm, affordability, and outdoor recreation, including Lassen Volcanic National Park. St. Elizabeth Community Hospital serves a rural area over 3,000 square miles, with a population of 65,000. Purpose-Driven Work with Local Impact
