Family Health Center at NYU Langone
Summary:
The FHC OBGYN physician will provide comprehensive (routine and emergency) obstetrics and gynecological care to an ethnically and socially diverse patient population in accordance with the values, beliefs, and policies of NYU Langone Family Health Centers (NYULFHC). The ideal candidate will have an interest or experience working in underserved communities.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct clinical care to all assigned patients according to applicable standards of care, FHC policies, and procedures. Work 7 sessions weekly in FHC (clinic setting), accommodating both walk-in patients and those with scheduled appointments as appropriate. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation to facilitate timely billing and reimbursement for FHC/NYU Langone, including notes and up-to-date problem and medication lists. Participate in departmental or network-wide quality management and performance improvement activities, including education, training efforts, and medical record audits. Supervise and/or contribute to training residents and students in an ambulatory setting, completing evaluation forms promptly. Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and Operating Room of NYU Langone Hospitals. Respond to pages, phone calls, and other communication methods during business hours and after hours. ON-CALL SHIFT is defined as a 24-hour period approximately 3-4 times per month. Meet productivity expectations as set forth.
Salary:
$250K - $275K including incentives. Graduated from a US-accredited residency training program. NYS Medical License. Board eligible or board certified in OB-GYN. NYU Langone Health
