A leading academic hospital in New Jersey is seeking Locum Tenens Psychiatric Coverage starting August 11 through December 26,2025. This is an inpatient-based, hospital consult service focused on medically complex patients in a level 1 Trauma Center – Ideal for psychiatrists who enjoy team-based care in high-acuity settings. Position Highlights: Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (4-day workweek) Setting : Inpatient Psychiatry | Consultation-Liaison Service Patient Load:
~4 new consults + 6 follow-ups per day Team Based:
2 Psychiatrist share coverage daily | Clerical staff support Call:
Absolutely none EMR:
Epic (unified system, inpatient only) Requirements: Board Certified in Psychiatry (ABPN) Active NJ Medical License Available for entire coverage period (Aug 11 – Dec 26, 2025) Prior CL Psychiatry or Hospital-based consult experience preferred Credentialing Takes 60 – 75 days – early applications will be prioritized Why Locum Here?
