candidates to work for our client in Batavia, New York. In this role, you will perform a full range of mental health services in accordance with privileges granted by the facility.

Responsibilities and Duties
Evaluation, formulation of diagnoses, and treatment of psychiatric and mental health care needs, including family units; urgent and emergency mental health care, public health management, case management, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and gender-specific care.
Responding to and coordinating responses to medical emergencies as needed.
Prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medication treatments, including managing side effects and adverse reactions.
Providing psycho-educational information regarding mental illness, emotional disturbances, or behavioral disorders, treatment goals, benefits, risks, self-monitoring, and support groups.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (specializing in Psychiatry) from an accredited U.S. institution.
Equivalent foreign medical degree with certification by ECFMG and NCFMEA.
Current, unrestricted medical license in New York State.
Completion of an approved residency program.
BLS certification via the American Heart Association.
Verbal proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting, including responding to emergencies.
Good visual, hearing, and dexterity capabilities.
Respond to medical emergencies within four minutes, including performing CPR.
Assist patients or staff during emergencies.
