Psychiatrist
position at STGi, located in Savannah, Tennessee. The role is full-time or PRN/Per Diem. Required Education and Experience
Degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from a U.S. school, or an equivalent foreign degree certified by ECFMG and NCFMEA Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of Tennessee BLS certification through the American Heart Association Ability to pass a federal security background check U.S. Citizenship Major Duties and Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care within your scope of practice, adhering to licensure and credentialing standards Treat patients across the lifespan as appropriate to your discipline and setting Respond to medical emergencies as needed Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medication, including side effects and adverse reactions Provide psycho-educational information about treatments and support options Physical Demands
Walk unaided for up to 10 minutes and respond quickly to emergencies Perform CPR/emergency care standing or kneeling Assist detainees or staff during emergencies, possibly involving lifting or dragging Visual, auditory, and olfactory acuity required Capable of lifting, pushing, or carrying 30 pounds and standing on hard surfaces for extended periods STGi offers a competitive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with company match, PTO, and sick leave.
