Core Pricing team
is central to the platform’s success — building the systems that calculate risk and profitability for every loan originated while enabling new product strategies and ensuring scalability. This is a high-impact engineering role where you’ll work across product, data science, and business stakeholders to influence pricing and revenue outcomes at scale. Responsibilities
As a
Software Engineer on the Core Pricing team , you will: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into scalable technical requirements. Develop robust, high-performance services that enable
real-time loan pricing decisions . Optimize and refactor code to ensure low-latency, scalable pricing engines. Maintain and evolve
API infrastructure
to support growing products and integrations. Ensure the quality and reliability of pricing models through testing, monitoring, and code reviews. Lead and contribute to multi-month initiatives that improve conversion and profitability across loan products. Mentor junior engineers and elevate team practices. Ideal Background
3+ years of professional software development experience building scalable, customer-facing products. Strong coding experience in
Python, Kotlin, or Go
(or similar languages). Experience building
scalable APIs and microservices
in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar). Familiarity with
distributed systems
and performance optimization. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, performance, and user experience. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated success leading engineering projects or small teams. Preferred
Background in
fintech, finance, or financial mathematics . Familiarity with
pricing algorithms, statistics, or machine learning . Hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and modern SDLC practices. Experience mentoring engineers and serving as a domain expert. Active engagement in open-source or continuous learning in software engineering best practices. Compensation and Benefits
