Department Information – South Pasadena The Radiation Therapist I reports directly to the Director of Radiation Oncology. This role involves performing treatments and simulations on a Varian 2100iX and Philips CT simulator, collaborating closely with the radiation oncology care team to ensure efficient care delivery following COH policies and procedures. New graduates are encouraged to apply! As a successful candidate, you will: Deliver prescribed radiation therapy to patients of all ages. Reinforce treatment and care instructions to patients, including managing side effects. Perform simulation procedures as prescribed and assist in dosimetry. Conduct daily quality assurance checks on linear accelerators, reporting any issues. Your qualifications should include: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in an accredited Radiation Therapy program. 0-3 years of related experience, depending on training. Licensed by the California State Department of Health (Certified in Radiation Therapy). Certified by the ARRT in Radiation Therapy (CRT). BLS or CPR certification. Hourly pay rate: $70.0448/hr. Note:
