Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated General Practitioner (GP) Physician to provide high-quality primary care services in a rural setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling to patients’ homes and delivering personalized care, with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and wound care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide care to patients in their homes across rural communities.
Diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans.
Perform minor procedures and wound care as needed.
Coordinate with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records using EMR systems.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs.
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Practice.
Valid and unrestricted medical license in Mississippi.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in rural or home-based care settings.
Experience in wound management.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
