Associate Director, Datacenters and Energy
The Team:
Our team has been at the forefront of the datacenter market for over a decade, delivering both qualitative and quantitative analyses. We provide insights into the companies within the industry, their clients, and the trends affecting the industry across different cities.
The Impact:
As an Associate Director, your role will be pivotal in serving a diverse range of clients, including datacenter operators, investors, energy companies, and enterprises. Our clients depend on us for comprehensive coverage of datacenter-specific trends in North America, as well as broader topics like energy management, sustainability, and AI's impact on operations. Your work will guide clients in making informed strategic decisions in the dynamic intersection of AI, datacenter growth, and energy needs.

Responsibilities:
Lead as a key figure in a new focus area within 451 Research and S&P Commodities Insights.
Create and deliver detailed market reports on the North American datacenter, infrastructure, and energy markets.
Engage directly with clients, providing insights and solutions.
Conduct research for client consulting engagements, offering strategic recommendations.
Share thought leadership through webinars and industry conferences.
Collaborate across divisions to integrate diverse insights into cohesive analyses.
Perform quantitative analysis to support strategic insights.
Contribute to consulting engagements and deliver presentations and reports.
Utilize your expertise in datacenter and energy industries to drive research initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in the datacenter or energy industries, with knowledge in both preferred.
Proven ability in quantitative analysis and strategic insight delivery.
Strong client-facing skills, particularly with capital markets stakeholders.
Excellent written and presentation skills for effective communication.
Research experience in support of client consulting engagements.
Experience in thought leadership through webinars and conferences.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
Strong collaborative skills for cross-division integration.
Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
Willingness to travel for client engagements and events.
Preferred Qualifications:
7-10 years of work experience.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
Interest in public speaking.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000. Final base salary will be based on geographic location, experience, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
