Proton Radiation Therapist . Schedule: Monday - Friday 7-3:30/8-4:30/9-5:30 Pay Range:
$55 - $62 Responsibilities
The Proton/Photon Radiation Oncology Therapist provides high-quality radiation therapy care to patients and their families in Radiation Oncology. The therapist is part of a specialized team caring for radiation oncology patients at Sibley. Implements, documents, and administers radiation to patients, monitoring clinical and psychosocial needs and responses to therapy Provides education and psychosocial support to patients and families Prepares and applies ionizing radiation according to the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist, under the supervision of the Manager and Lead Therapist Operates all Radiation Oncology equipment, including CT simulators, linear accelerators, QA dosimeters, diode systems, and related computer equipment Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required ARRT certification required BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years proton experience highly preferred Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
