Ochsner Children’s Hospital is recruiting a BC/BE Pediatric Intensivist to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. We welcome both recent graduates and experienced physicians. Competitive salary is offered based on training and experience. Role and Team
Ochsner Children’s Hospital comprises more than 85 primary care pediatricians and over 290 pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists across 27 locations in Louisiana and Mississippi. The pediatric critical care team includes 12 intensivists, advanced practice providers, and outstanding nurses. About the Hospital and Programs
Ochsner Children’s Hospital features a 67-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 14-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, a 12-bed pediatric CV-ICU, a NAEC-accredited level IV facility, a 4-bed Pediatric Emergency Medicine Unit, and a 44-bed Pediatric Acute Care unit, with a dedicated pediatric emergency room and a 24/7 pediatric and neonatal transport team. Ochsner Children’s Hospital is expanding with a new 5-story Children’s Hospital on the main campus in New Orleans, expected to open at the start of 2028. Training and Teaching
Ochsner Children’s Hospital has an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program and collaborates with the Tulane-Ochsner Pediatric Residency program and medical students from Tulane and the University of Queensland. We are involved in research and multi-center trials. Qualifications
