Lenity Vet Specialists + Emergency Care is partnering with iHire to reach top talent for their Emergency Veterinarian opening in San Mateo, CA. Compensation ranges from $200,000 – $250,000 per year (DOE + commission) with a signing bonus. This role offers autonomy in a collaborative, people-first hospital where your skills are valued and growth is supported. What You’ll Do
As an Emergency Veterinarian at Lenity, you’ll provide life-saving care for pets in critical need. You’ll have the autonomy to practice medicine on your terms, backed by a skilled team and advanced tools. Your Day-to-day Will Include
Diagnosing and managing a wide range of emergency cases Providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and clients Performing emergency procedures and stabilizing critical cases Collaborating with specialists in surgery, internal medicine, anesthesia, and critical care Utilizing state-of-the-art tools including CT, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and in-house lab Developing diagnostic and treatment plans for diverse patient needs Communicating clearly with pet owners and colleagues Mentoring and supporting veterinary team members Contributing to a positive, growth-focused team culture Participating in rounds, case discussions, and continuous learning Adapting to a dynamic caseload in a fast-paced, supportive environment What We’re Looking For
DVM (or equivalent) degree Active California veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain) 1+ years of experience in emergency or critical care preferred Commitment to practicing high-quality, patient-centered medicine Strong communication and collaboration skills A growth mindset and a passion for learning Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (day, evening, or overnight) Desire to contribute to a positive, team-centered culture Why Choose Lenity
