Overview
Pilot (First Officer) - West Region at NetJets. The Pilot is responsible to provide a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record second to none on each flight. The Pilot is the face of NetJets, providing technically accurate and safe transportation and exceptional service for Owners and passengers. The Pilot may perform multiple roles from professional aviator to in-flight service provider. The Pilot is in full command of the aircraft at all times and must maintain a professional demeanor. Responsibilities
Safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing per FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and SOPs. Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, brief on flight/trip, verify itinerary, provide weather updates, safety briefings, and explain itinerary changes. Provide in-flight service as needed, including handling of alcohol and catering service. Load and stow baggage as required. Conduct flights for Owners with pets or those who smoke. Act as final authority on aircraft operations and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidance. Serve as liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until safe landing and deboarding. Communicate maintenance abnormalities to Maintenance Control Center and complete related paperwork. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education: High School Certifications and Licenses: Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP); First Class Medical Certificate Experience: Not specified KSAOs and Requirements: FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet FAA ATP/Restricted ATP requirements with multi-engine rating (as per 61.160) including: age 21+, various flight-hour requirements, current medical, passport, ability to work varied hours, strong communication, ability to interact with passengers, physical requirements, ability to travel, etc. Must be able to pass background checks, security badges, and have valid passport and driver’s license. Fluency in English. Service-oriented with neat appearance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, etc. Ability to work around animals. Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke. Base Salary
