Purpose of Position: The Pilot is responsible to provide a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record second to none on each flight. The Pilot is the face of NetJets, delivering technically accurate and safe transportation along with an exceptional service experience for NetJets Owners and passengers. The Pilot wears many hats, ranging from professional aviator to in-flight service provider, and remains in full command of the aircraft at all times with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off, to landing per FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs). Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, brief them on the flight, verify itinerary, provide weather updates and safety briefings, and explain any changes to the itinerary.

Deliver in-flight service as needed, including handling of alcohol and catering service.

Load and stow baggage properly on the aircraft.

Handle flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke as required.

Act as the final authority on the aircraft with respect to operations and safety compliance.

Serve as a liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO through landing and departure from the final FBO.

Communicate maintenance abnormalities to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete related paperwork.

Other duties as assigned depending on assignment.

Qualifications Education : High School

Certifications and Licenses : Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP); First Class Medical Certificate

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs)

FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) with multi-engine rating (per 61.160).

Age: at least 21 years.

Flight time requirements as specified (various hour thresholds for total time, PIC, cross-country, night, instrument, etc.).

ATP written completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training.

Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate; FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit; valid passport; authorization to work in the U.S. and travel without restriction.

Ability to work varying hours, including day/night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays; ability to adjust to rapid changes; manage rest for flight duty.

Ability to pass TSA background screening and obtain airport authority/US Customs security badges; read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and strong passenger interaction skills; excellent oral and written communication, especially under pressure.

Physical ability to move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds constantly; ability to work around animals when necessary; ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
