Quality Assurance Lead

Responsibilities
Support the food safety team with HACCP and food safety controls. Ensure facility maintains Halal, food safety, and hygiene standards. Maintain HACCP lines, ensuring all key areas are covered and personnel are trained. Monitor critical control points (CCP) and temperature records, escalating issues when necessary. Complete internal food safety audits and prepare samples for microbiological testing. Maintain quality assurance filing systems and investigate customer complaints. Recommend improvements for the facilitys traceability system. Assist with internal and external audits. Support pest control management, complete pest control audits, and monitor cleaning schedules. Maintain facility hygiene records and ensure compliance with sanitation standards. Monitor hygiene training, deliver food safety training, and track certification renewals. Collaborate with supervisors and HR to enforce hygiene protocols and address violations. Perform additional duties as assigned by the FS/QA Supervisor or Manager. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Quality Assurance or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1 years of experience in food safety, hygiene, or quality assurance, preferably in a high-volume food manufacturing environment. HACCP and PCQI certification required. Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in accordance with business needs. Diversity & Inclusion
