We seek a candidate to contribute to collaborative research at the Alzheimer's Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI) Neuroscience Translational Research Division (NTRD) at USC in San Diego. This position will also lead an independent research lab focused on translational basic science studies for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of independent research and experience participating in collaborative projects within Alzheimer's disease translational research. Responsibilities include experimental planning and execution of research projects, working closely with other NTRD PIs, team members, and collaborators. The candidate must demonstrate strong mentorship skills for junior scientists and PhD candidates, and excel in scientific communication, both oral and written. Recognition for scientific and technical leadership, evidenced by a publication record in leading neuroscience journals, is essential. The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $160,000.
