Description: Candidate Type: MD (Medical Doctor); DO (Osteopathic Doctor); NP (Nurse Practitioner). Job Type: Locum. Disciplines: FAM (Family Medicine). Work Schedule: Clinic hours 8a-5p. A clinic in southern Arizona has an opportunity for a skilled Family Medicine physician to provide locum coverage. Opportunity Overview: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p Setting: Outpatient Patient Census: ~21 per shift Patient Population: Adult and pediatric Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, hike among towering saguaro cacti in a national park, bike scenic desert trails framed by mountains and dramatic rock formations, and stargaze at an internationally renowned observatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered Family Practice Physician Arizona state license Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program One year of work experience as a Family Practice Physician One year of EMR experience Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements
