The Stanford Center for Precision Mental Health and Wellness (PMHW) within the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Science focuses on developing precision medicine approaches for mental health spanning mood, anxiety and attention disorders. Our research aims to develop brain-based classifications that inform individual understanding and treatment selection. PMHW is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator Associate in Precision Psychiatry and Neuroimaging to execute precision medicine in mental health studies. The position will be based within the Center’s Personalized and Translational Neuroscience lab (PanLab) and will be fully in-person. The PanLab is a precision psychiatry and clinical translational neuroscience research group that uses brain imaging to improve understanding and treatment of mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. The CRCA will perform data processing as well as recruitment and assessment of study subjects, with a focus on leading ongoing therapeutic treatment studies that match fMRI-based biotypes to personalized treatments and using fMRI to understand brain responses to new exploratory treatments. Responsibilities

Coordinate studies from start-up through close-out. Determine eligibility of and obtain consent from study participants according to protocol. Assist in developing recruitment strategies. Collect and manage functional magnetic resonance imaging and related assessments for participants in precision medicine in mental health and neuroimaging studies. Manage pre- and post-data collection activities, including managing project activities through RedCap and completing study documents and forms. Ensure compliance with research protocols, review and audit study forms for completion and accuracy with source documents. Prepare regulatory submissions and ensure Institutional Review Board renewals are completed. Monitor expenditures related to project activities. Serve as primary contact with research participants, funders, and regulatory agencies. Other duties may also be assigned. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous research experience in Biology, Psychology or Neuroscience. 1–2 years of related hands-on experience in acquiring and/or processing functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data. Proficiency with basic programming and scripts; familiarity with Linux/Unix. Beginner to intermediate level of MATLAB experience. Technical skills and familiarity with imaging software packages such as SPM, FSL and/or FreeSurfer. Previous work with human participants. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, REDCap and database applications. Knowledge of regulatory requirements including Institutional Review Boards, HIPAA and Good Clinical Practices. Knowledge of psychiatry and neuroscience terminology; experience with human subject studies relevant to precision medicine in mental health and neuroimaging trials; experience with FDA regulatory procedures and reporting. Demonstrated ability to solve problems proactively and be accountable for project tasks. Education & Experience (Required): Two-year college degree with two years related work experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of related education and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Required): Strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of medical terminology. Certifications & Licenses: Certification by the Society of Clinical Research Associates or the Association of Clinical Research Professionals is preferred. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, bending and fine motor tasks.
