$140,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr The individual in this role will oversee the end-to-end process of structuring and approving commercial transactions. They will work closely with sales and cross-functional teams to ensure deals are executed efficiently, aligned with company policies, and optimized for business outcomes. This role is central to scaling operations and improving the effectiveness of the sales organization. Key Responsibilities: Lead the coordination and oversight of deal review and approval processes. Establish and maintain pricing, discounting, and contract standards across the organization. Create escalation protocols for complex or high-value transactions. Review and validate quotes generated by the broader team, offering support on non-standard or strategic deals. Enhance forecasting tools and ensure they are optimized for accuracy and usability across the sales function. Develop a long-term strategy for operational efficiency, including leveraging global resources. Train team members on quoting tools and systems, such as Salesforce. Advise on deal structure, focusing on key elements like contract duration, payment terms, and pricing strategy. Anticipate follow-up questions and proactively provide deeper insights beyond initial analysis requests. Ensure reporting is timely, accurate, and actionable, while identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency. Conduct in-depth analysis and present findings to senior sales leadership. Collaborate with sales leaders to shape strategic direction and support decision-making. Partner with data teams to build automated reporting solutions. Support day-to-day sales operations and provide high-quality service to internal stakeholders. Define and track performance metrics, reporting results to executive leadership on a regular basis. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning, sales operations, or similar roles. Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ tools, and data platforms such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik is a plus. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across departments. Seniority level:
