Overview Job Title: Subcontracts Manager

The Supplier Account Manager is accountable to initiate, develop and implement effective Supplier Performance and Relationship management programs to ensure performance (productivity, quality, sustainability and delivery), growth and innovation, while effectively managing risk and spend.

Responsibilities

Understands the full business relationship with each of the assigned suppliers, its position in the market relative to others, including strengths, weaknesses, strategic direction, investment plans, cost competitiveness, capabilities and capacity including relevant knowledge on products.

Manages supplier performance to meet annual operating targets.

Develops, maintains and executes Supplier account strategies for the assigned supplier portfolio clearly defining areas of improvement (cost, delivery, quality, responsiveness, innovation) as well as relevant future business opportunities.

Relentlessly drives impact to the bottom and top line through Supplier Performance Development and innovative negotiation approach.

Drive compliance, contract and risk management.

You\'re the right fit if you have

Bachelors or Master degree (Business Administration and/or Engineering)

3+ years of strategic buyer and/or Site Project Procurement manager and/or Business Process Engineer with a Master\'s Degree or 5+ years of experience with a Bachelors degree

A track record in strategic procurement, driving innovative supplier relationship management. Technical affinity or background very helpful

Broad experience with electro-mechanical and electronic components categories (cables, batteries, power supplies, Asics, PCB, passive and similar) preferred. Medical industry experience a plus

Willingness to travel up to 25%

How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in Washington is $99,960 to $159,936

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA
