Lead and support procurement projects within the Paper & Packaging category focused on cost savings, quality improvement, and supply optimization. Identify and execute Bill of Materials (BoM) cost reductions through concept and source changes and supplier negotiations. Drive supplier engagement for RFPs, ensuring technical alignment, competitive pricing, and full participation. Support Design for Excellence (DfX) and early supplier involvement to improve product performance and reduce costs. Build and maintain product cost roadmaps and ensure supplier readiness through launch and lifecycle phases. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, and Commercial functions, while engaging with global suppliers to support innovation and continuous improvement. Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 4+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management, Process engineering, R&D, or related areas. Skills include CAPA methodologies, DfX methodologies, supplier evaluation methodologies, Supplier Quality Management, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Documentation & Reporting, and Continuous Improvement. Experience supporting cost reduction on purchased components, improving supply chain performance, and driving supply chain innovation. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across functions and with external suppliers. How We Work Together
This is an office-based role. For our office-based teams, in-person presence is expected, typically at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. The pay range for this position in Bothell, WA is $76,000 - 100,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges based on factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in Philips Total Rewards, which includes PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more.
