As an Associate Project Manager, you will assist the Project Manager in the overall administrative and technical direction for one large complex project or direct smaller projects under the supervision of a Project Manager. Assistant Project Managers may have bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss, and will provide technical and engineering support as required by the project. Day in the Life / Responsibilities

Assist in the total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between internal and external project members, including General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen. Assist the Project Manager in the authorization and/or approval of all project staffing, including the selection of superintendent, general foremen, and foremen. Perform specialized estimating and assist in estimating projects. Assist the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests. Assist in the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensure OSHA requirements are met. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 0-1 year of construction and/or project experience OR knowledge of construction methods. Project management training, experience or skills with a general understanding of a project lifecycle. Strong process orientation, analytical and mathematical skills. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality throughout the project lifecycle. Willingness to travel to and potentially temporarily relocate to project locations. Experience with Accubid a plus. Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus. Salary Range

$95,000-$115,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications Benefits
