Ultimately, D’Amore-McKim’s values-driven culture and cross-border approach to learning and research empower our students, faculty, alumni, and corporate partners to create impact far beyond the confines of time, discipline, degree, and campus.# Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions is a member of the Admissions and Recruiting Team, reporting to the Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions. The Assistant Director has responsibility for assisting with the admissions pipeline process and activities (driving inquiries to application) for the MS in Management, Graduate Certificates and corporate programs in the D’Amore-McKim School of Business. The Assistant Director also supports the recruiting and admission activities for the Full-time MBA, Part-time MBA, and other Master of Science (Finance, Business Analytics, Innovation, and International Management) programs.## The Assistant Director will participate in creating pipeline activity schedule and executing pipeline support activities that include regular communication with inquiry/lead populations and applicants.## Other responsibilities:* Reviews applications, makes recommendations for admission to the Admissions Committee* Communicates decisions to applicants including wait list status and scholarship decisions* Interviews candidates* Tracks decisions and updates applicant records in the CRM and admissions systems* Plans and implements recruiting and yield events including open houses for admitted candidates* Represents the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at recruiting activities such as general information sessions and program-specific sessions (on- and off-campus, virtual) which may include corporate on-site visits and information sessions, MBA/MS fairs and forums, university events.* Recruits and coordinates student and alumni ambassadors.* Other assignments as needed.## The local MBA, MS and Graduate Certificate program markets are extremely competitive. Aggressive and consistent admissions efforts paired with data-informed strategies are essential to increase the quantity and quality of prospective candidates, applicants, admitted and enrolled students. The DMSB is committed to raising visibility by improving its position in the business school rankings. The Assistant Director’s efforts will be critical in this regard.# Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred or graduate degree in higher education administration.* At least three years of experience, with preference given to candidates who have experience in MBA or graduate admission and recruiting.* Candidates must demonstrate a professional presence and maturity in dealing with a variety of audiences, external and internal to the university.* Excellent interpersonal, oral presentation, and written communication skills are critical for success.* Expertise in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, database management, and other technological support resources.* Strong project management/organizational skills with attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to balance multiple demands from different constituencies.* Creativity, positive can-do attitude, flexibility, initiative, and ability to function effectively as a member of a team.* Responsive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.* Willingness to travel and ability to work evenings and weekends as required.# Documents to Submit:Cover LetterResume**Position Type**Data Planning and Analysis**Additional Information**Northeastern University considers factors such as candidate work experience, education and skills when extending an offer.Northeastern has a comprehensive benefits package for benefit eligible employees.
