Property Accountant - Real Estate Portfolio up to $85,000 We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant to oversee accounting for a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role is based in-office in Boston, where you’ll join a collaborative and tight-knit team. As the primary accountant for properties, you’ll manage full-cycle accounting functions, including general ledger work, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, and financial statement preparation. Proficiency in AppFolio and Excel is essential. Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties. Maintain general ledger, prepare journal entries, and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable. Perform month-end close and prepare financial statements. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements. Utilize AppFolio and Excel to support accounting processes and reporting. Qualifications
Minimum of three years of property accounting experience. Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in AppFolio and Excel is essential. Availability to work in-office in Boston. Compensation and Culture
