Plan, assign, and direct workflow of Machine Shop, providing expert technical support for all personnel (20-30 employees) Interview, hire, train, and motivate team; appraise performance and address issues Define manufacturing methodology with design, manufacturing, and process engineers Create CNC programs and holding fixtures Work with project management on new product development Implement continuous improvement initiatives for process and tooling Order and manage raw materials and consumable tools for machine shop Perform additional tasks and projects as required Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience and Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with CNC/lathe machining and programming Continuous improvement experience is a plus Previous supervisory/leadership experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Please share your resume in confidence for this Machine Shop Manager opportunity.
