Overview
Product Manager II, Compute, Google Cloud role at Google. Drive, build, and scale new CPU based VMs to market under Google Compute Engine. Work across hardware, software, research, and product teams towards product goals and roadmap. Understand the competitive dynamics and industry trends on where the innovation is happening for both workloads and hardware. Drive the roadmap for CPU and Memory technologies, guest OS support, network, storage, hypervisor, and offloads. Provide data-driven insights to prioritize engineering initiatives and support return on investment. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role. Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, or other software infrastructure areas. Preferred qualifications
Experience with key Enterprise workloads (e.g., MSSQL, SAP HANA). Knowledge of locally attached Storage systems (LSDD) and performance needs. Knowledge of different workload requirements (e.g., emerging and existing) and their demands on the underlying infrastructure. Location and compensation

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
