What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a 5th or 6th-year attorney with a strong background in HR and labor matters and solid experience as a corporate generalist to join our growing legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, HR, and operations across the company to ensure compliance, manage risk, and contribute to strategic decision-making as we scale. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have the flexibility to handle a wide variety of legal tasks, from employment law issues to commercial contracts and corporate governance. What You Bring:
Serve as the primary legal advisor on employment law, labor relations, employee policies, internal investigations, and HR compliance (including wage and hour, ADA, FMLA, etc.).
Support and advise internal HR teams on hiring practices, terminations, employee relations, and training.
Manage or support employment-related litigation and pre-litigation matters.
Serve as a corporate generalist, handling or overseeing matters such as:
Contract drafting and negotiation (vendor, customer, and service agreements)
Corporate governance and compliance
Risk management and regulatory matters
Coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters
Contribute to developing internal policies and procedures that scale with the company’s growth
Collaborate cross-functionally with People Ops, Finance, Operations, and Product teams
Compensation:
Our compensation package is a blend of base salary and equity options for eligible employees. The range for this role is $175,000 – $200,000. We consider a number of factors when presenting a final offer, including geography, internal equity and years of experience and expertise. Benefits
