As a Store Manager, you are a charismatic leader with exceptional service and sales acumen. Reporting into the District Manager, you will drive the growth and awareness of Mejuri in your store and market. You are passionate about leading teams, leading by example, building motivation, and creating an environment that demonstrates the Mejuri values. You are the ambassador of the Mejuri brand; accountable for creating a highly productive store environment where we exceed customer expectations and foster an engaging and inclusive workplace. You will grow and develop your team, maintaining a high level of engagement, and manage all aspects of profit, people, and process within your store, partnering with People Operations, Retail Operations, Marketing and Merchandising to exceed targets. Responsibilities
Revenue & Profitability: Responsible for the financial health and profitability of your store, driving revenue and exceeding targets; manage store spend and minimize costs; review and monitor business results and create strategic plans with the District Manager to achieve targets; support the team in achieving KPI goals and develop business acumen to analyze results and implement improvements; mitigate risk, protect assets including inventory accuracy and shrink, and partner with Visual Merchandising to ensure the right assortment to drive profitability and sales. People: Ensure the right people are in the right roles and quantities; participate in sourcing, assessment, and onboarding of talent; conduct performance reviews; build a positive and engaging work environment; manage schedules and live-week standards; foster learning opportunities for current and future roles; uphold compensation philosophy; retain high performers and handle exits for low performers; adhere to compliance practices with People Operations for escalations. Customer Experience: Lead by example, coach staff on hosting, customer service and product knowledge; validate and enhance in-store client strategy to build relationships and acquire new customers; promote services such as piercing and engraving. Brand: Act as Mejuri culture ambassador; identify opportunities for local marketing initiatives and community engagement; partner with Marketing to host events and build brand awareness in local communities. Operations: Provide day-to-day support to ensure objectives are achieved, maintain brand and product standards, identify and escalate gaps or risks, partner with Operations on inventory and cycle counts, and ensure store technology and processes enable seamless operation. Qualifications
Experience in a high-volume retail store. Understanding of local market and requirements for new store openings. Financial management experience with success in driving top-line sales, interpreting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses. Exceptional leadership with a track record of developing and motivating talent in fast-paced environments. Service excellence in a consumer environment. Strong local network and ability to navigate and grow your network. Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a bias for experimentation and iteration. Bonus: opened a store from scratch. Bonus: experience in a startup or fast-growing company. Benefits
