In this role, you will be responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care, as well as performing administrative tasks to support our clinic operations./ph3Job Description/h3pAs the Certified Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for:/pulliIdentifying the best method for blood collection based on patient needs and medical orders./liliExplaining the blood drawing process to patients and preparing them for the procedure./liliUsing sterile techniques to prepare the collection site and draw blood from the patient./liliMaintaining accurate records of blood draws and patient information./liliFollowing safety protocols and infection control procedures to prevent the spread of disease./liliCoordination and scheduling of appointments./liliCollecting and processing Labs./liliPerform Covid testing./li/ulh3What to Expect/h3pIn this role, you can expect to:/pulliProvide support to Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing routine medical procedures./liliPerforming administrative tasks such as scheduling, charting, and inventory management./liliDownloading lab results and emailing them to patients./liliProvide the highest level of customer service./liliMaintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained./li/ulh3What Youll Bring/h3pWere looking for someone who has:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant / Certified Phlebotomy Technician program required./lili2+ years of experience in a medical assistant role, with experience in a clinic or outpatient setting preferred./liliKnowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures./liliStrong attention to detail and organizational skills./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills./liliProficiency in electronic health records systems and Microsoft Office Suite./li/ulh3Our Culture Perks/h3pAt Next Health, we are committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment that values collaboration, professionalism, and personal growth.
