*Position Summary:*

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented *Electrical Engineering Technician III* to join our Integrated Circuits (IC) department within a leading medical device company. This hands-on role is focused on supporting the development, verification, and maintenance of electronic components and assemblies critical to the performance of life-saving technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing *verification and testing*, *PCB-level troubleshooting*, and *precision soldering*, while supporting both *product development* and *sustaining engineering* efforts in a regulated environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Perform *electrical verification, functional testing*, and validation of PCBs and electromechanical assemblies. * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) and complex electronic systems. * Conduct precision *soldering* and *rework* of both *surface-mount* and *through-hole* components. * Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. * Operate diagnostic and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators. * Execute calibration, alignment, and performance checks to ensure devices meet specifications. * Collect, analyze, and report test data using standardized documentation and formats. * Use ERP and QMS systems to track work, record test results, and ensure traceability. * Support *new product development*, engineering builds, and design verification activities. * Manage inventory of parts and components; support cycle counting and material tracking. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements. * Present findings, issues, and recommendations to engineering and leadership teams. * Ensure compliance with all relevant quality and regulatory standards throughout testing and documentation.

*Minimum Qualifications:*

* High school diploma or GED equivalent. * Minimum of *4 years of relevant hands-on experience* in electronics, electromechanical systems, or related technical fields. * *Expertise in soldering* and *PCB-level troubleshooting* (surface-mount and through-hole). * Knowledge of *PLC systems* or industrial automation tools. * Strong working knowledge of *electrical schematics*, drawings, and diagnostic tools. * Experience with *verification and testing* of electronic devices and systems. * Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. * Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and working in a lab/manufacturing environment.

*Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):*

* Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline. * Experience working in a *regulated industry* (medical devices, aerospace, automotive, etc.). * Familiarity with *FDA and ISO 13485* standards and quality system requirements. * Experience with *LabVIEW* for automated testing or data acquisition.

* Background in medical device assembly, manufacturing, or testing processes. * Strong technical writing skills for documenting procedures and test results. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic computer troubleshooting.
