QUALIFICATIONS
Administrative or Logistical Management Experience
Must be flexible and able to Able to work in a highly fluid and stressful environment.
Excellent knowledge of and ability to use current Microsoft software computer programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher, as well as e-mail, Adobe Acrobat and the internet
Ability to learn and utilize The Salvation Army Kettle Management Software Program
Excellent interpersonal, telephone and communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent detail, organization and file management skills
Ability to work in a team setting with other professionals
Ability to maintain a self-motivated and self-directed schedule, address multiple projects in a timely manner and take projects from beginning through completion
Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances
Must possess a valid Nevada driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record check
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the onboarding of seasonal bell ringers
Coordinate, schedule and seek out volunteers and service clubs for various locations
Participate in training, and scheduling of bell ringers and drivers
Identify new and existing and kettle sites, ensuring all the correct paper work is secured, including property manager approvals and insurance certificates.
Recruit service clubs and corporations to volunteer at, or sponsor kettles.
Assist in meeting with store managers working out details for scheduling, special needs, stand storage, etc.
Review daily reports making appropriate management decisions based on the data.
Responsible for the distribution of bells, aprons and or jackets to bell ringers
Responsible for the collection of kettles at the end of each shift
Collect and verify time sheets
Turn time sheets in for processing
Distribute pay checks when received
Ensure the return of all Salvation Army owned property at the end of the season
Other duties, as assigned
