Seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental health and safety operations across its Fontana and Chino facilities. This is a critical hire due to compliance risks and delays in key initiatives stemming from the current vacancy. The role is central to maintaining regulatory compliance, reducing incidents, and supporting production in a highly regulated, ISO 9001:2015-certified environment. The EHS Manager will oversee hazardous materials programs, including chlorine gas (liquid and vapor), and manage safety protocols for molten aluminum operations. The position requires strong collaboration with maintenance, production, and quality teams, and includes direct supervision of an EHS Admin and coordination with 8 internal inspectors. Wil; oversee all EHS programs, ensure compliance with multiple agencies (e.g., AQMD, CUPA, Cal OSHA, EPA), maintain documentation, and coordinate with maintenance and other departments. The role is responsible for managing all EHS programs, maintaining compliance, and supporting the maintenance and production teams.. First Day Responsibilities / Requirements Immediate ownership of existing EHS programs (SWPPP, SPCC, RMP, CUPA, IIPP, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Respiratory Protection) Begin reviewing and updating compliance documentation and regulatory reports Establish safety oversight for chlorine gas systems and molten aluminum handling Use Excel to track incidents and compliance metrics Coordinate with Maintenance for preventative safety measures Lead safety meetings and training sessions

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills Regulatory compliance (AQMD, CUPA, Cal OSHA, EPA), program management, documentation, and intermediate Excel proficiency are required. Strong EHS compliance and technical experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, with knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, hazardous materials, chlorine gas, multi-site oversight, program ownership with SWPPP, SPCC, RMP, IIPP) Top Skill Set: Strong environmental compliance knowledge, program/documentation management, cross-departmental communication, and ability to manage multiple regulatory programs, Day-to-Day: Managing compliance programs, maintaining documentation, ensuring regulatory deadlines are met, coordinating with maintenance and production, and overseeing an EHS admin. Additional Skills & Qualifications HAZWOPER, ASP/CSP certifications (preferred) Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Familiarity with ERP systems Associate or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field Experience in ISO 9001:2015 environments

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
