Job Responsibilities Personalize Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' individual needs and design tailored therapy plans that guide them toward achieving their functional objectives Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and holistic care Guide Patients and Their Families: Provide education to patients and caregivers on therapy methods to encourage continuous improvement at home Monitor and Record Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on target Education Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications Required Certifications

license NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory Key Skills
