Summary:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, unload, and organize materials within the facility. This role ensures efficient workflow, accurate inventory management, and compliance with safety standards to support daily production and shipping operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move products and materials safely and efficiently.

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

• Organize and store materials in designated locations for easy accessibility and accurate inventory control.

• Inspect forklifts and equipment before and after use, reporting any issues or maintenance needs to supervisors.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

• Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks, and tracking of materials.

• Support team members and collaborate to meet production and shipping deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 0–2 years of forklift or warehouse experience preferred.

• Valid forklift certification is a plus.
