• Job Title: Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens
• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana 46202
• Healthcare Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital, Endoscopy Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse, Locum Tenens
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 12, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts/week (07:00 - 17:30)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2150
• On-call: Rotating call required (nights/weekends)
• Free Parking: Available

Endoscopy RN Qualifications

• Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Scrub/tech experience in Bronchoscopy, EGD, and Colonoscopy procedures required
• Experience assisting with advanced GI procedures (EBUS, EUS, ERCP, POEM, TIF, motility studies) preferred
• Ability to float within scope to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed
• Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the assignment
• First-time travel nurses not accepted for this position

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Endoscopy unit, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure support
• Scrub/tech for Bronchoscopy, EGD, and Colonoscopy cases
• Assist with advanced gastrointestinal procedures such as EBUS, EUS, ERCP, POEM, TIF, and motility studies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide patient-centered clinical care
• Float to other hospital units or affiliate facilities as required
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including nights and weekends
• Accurately document patient care and procedures using Cerner EMR
