Endoscopy Nurse Details

• Position Type: Locum Tenens Travel RN
• Specialty: Endoscopy Nurse
• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46202
• Setting: Endoscopy Unit (ENDO)
• Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (07:00 - 19:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/12/2026)
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Unit Details: 4 procedure rooms, daily census varies (5-20 patients)
• Charting System: Cerner
• Floating: Required within hospital and to affiliate facilities
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,890 - $1,940

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Endoscopy RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana (pending license accepted)
• Travel RN experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association)
• Scrub/tech experience in Bronchoscopies required
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Graduate of ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with endoscopic procedures: Colonoscopies, EGD's, Bronchoscopies, EBUS, EUS, ERCP, POEM, TIF, and motility procedures
• Deliver pre- and post-procedure patient care
• Scrub/tech for Bronch cases, EGD, and Colonoscopies
• Float to other endoscopy units within the hospital or affiliate facilities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner
• Work up transplant patients and manage GI diagnoses
