Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
• Employment Type: Travel RN (locum tenens)
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 15, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570–$1610 per week
  
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Critical Care/ICU nursing experience
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in SICU or ICU prior to travel assignments
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or Compact State RN license
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in critical care required
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Availability to work at least every other holiday during contract
  
  

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Surgical ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress in a clinical setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Respond to medical emergencies and deliver advanced life support as needed
• Participate in orientation assessments and ongoing professional development for travel nurses
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
