CVOR RN Job Details

• Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse – Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing)
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44106 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Facility Type: Level 1 Academic Trauma Center with 26 main ORs and 6 outpatient ORs
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel contract)
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 4, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 06:45 AM – 05:30 PM (10-hour shifts, 40 hours/week)
• Call Requirement: Required
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,500 - $2,560
  
  

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Surgical specialty certification (preferred for CVOR nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience
• Experience with robotic surgery, heart transplant, and lung transplant procedures preferred
• Ability to scrub is a plus
• Completion of all required onboarding health and professional documentation (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, Education & Employment Verification, Ohio Fingerprints, Skills Checklist, etc.)
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
  
  

CVOR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgery patients in the CVOR
• Assist with advanced procedures, including robotic surgeries and organ transplants
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent surgical needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Support a positive, learning-focused environment in a busy academic medical center
