Endoscopy RN Job Details

• Location: Salem, Virginia (24153) – Main Hospital, 2nd Floor
• Unit: Endoscopy – 4 Procedure Rooms
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)
• Duration: 13-week contract (Start: 8/11/2025, End: 11/10/2025)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (07:00–17:30)
• On Call: Weekday and weekend call required
• Dress Code: Hospital-issued scrubs (surgical attire policy)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1820 - $1870

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in healthcare settings
• PACU or ICU nursing experience preferred
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment
• Quick learner, adaptable to frequent changes

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Admit, circulate, and scrub in endoscopy procedural cases
• Recover and discharge patients post-procedure
• Assist with procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy
• Utilize Olympus scopes and Provation documentation system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including scrub techs and scope room techs
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care
