Endoscopy RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel RN contract)
• Healthcare Setting: GI Lab
• Location: Cumming, Georgia 30041
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/27/2025 – End: 1/24/2026)
• Nursing Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 4 days/week (6:30am – 5:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1820-$1870 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Endoscopy RN or GI Lab nurse
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Willingness to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year\'s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year\'s Eve)
• No local candidates within 50 miles of Cumming, GA

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Assist with GI and pulmonary interventional procedures: colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopies, feeding tube placement, ERCP, EBUS, GI bleeds, Flex Sig, foreign body retrieval, navigation bronch, variceal banding, Bravo manometry, and capsule endoscopy
• Deliver high-quality patient care and monitoring throughout endoscopy procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to safety protocols
• Provide patient and family education with compassionate clinical support
