Emergency Room RN Job Details

• Location: Lawrence, MA 01841 – Massachusetts healthcare jobs
• Facility Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: August 25, 2025 (Orientation: 8/25 or 9/16)
• End Date: November 29, 2025
• Contract Duration: 14 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am), 3 shifts/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Unit Details: 41 private exam beds, 7-bed accelerated care unit (fast track), 35 hall beds; average ED census of 75
  
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts RN jobs
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Pediatric nursing experience required; must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients
• Recent references from Charge/Manager RNs in the ED specialty
• Skills checklist matching Emergency Department specialty
• Experience with Meditech Expanse 6 EMR preferred
  
  

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and manage care for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document care in the EMR system
• Respond promptly to emergencies and rapidly changing situations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
