Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Rockford, IL 61104 (Illinois nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 25, 2025 – November 22, 2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Med/Surg
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (9:30am–8:00pm, 10:00am–8:30pm, 10:30am–9:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1860–$2000
• On-Call: Weekend and holiday on-call rotation, including Friday night, weekend, and Sunday night coverage
• Employment Type: Travel RN (locum tenens healthcare job)
  
  

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Illinois RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or PACU nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (current and submitted with application)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  
  

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-operative patients in PACU and Med/Surg units
• Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage
