Endoscopy RN Job Details

• Position Type: Locum tenens (Travel Endoscopy RN)
• Specialty: Endoscopy Nursing
• Location: Round Rock, Texas 78681
• Healthcare Setting: Main hospital, 1st floor endoscopy suite
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (8-hour days)
• Alternative Shift Option: 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1670–$1710
• On-Call: Required
• Weekend Shifts: No regular weekends
• Scrubs: OR scrubs provided

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy RN experience
• Experience with ERCP procedures required
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Ability to collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Deliver pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care in a clinical setting
• Operate and maintain Olympus scopes and Medivator equipment
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed
• Accurately document patient care and clinical activities
• Foster a positive, team-oriented healthcare environment
