Endoscopy RN Job Details – Mason City, IA

• Location: Mason City, IA 50401 – A thriving Iowa community known for its friendly residents, beautiful parks, and rich musical heritage. Discover rewarding nursing jobs in Mason City, Iowa.
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract (July 20, 2025 – October 18, 2025)
• Hours: Full-time, 36-40 hours per week
• Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM; 8-10 hour shifts based on department needs
• On Call: 1 call shift per week and 1 weekend call shift per month; holiday rotation required
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1740 - $1860
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract (Locum Tenens RN job)
  
  

Endoscopy RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy RN experience required
• Current and valid BLS certification
• Completion of all required onboarding, competency, and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, TB testing)
• Ability to participate in on-call and holiday rotations as assigned
  
  

Travel Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after endoscopy procedures
• Assist physicians and healthcare professionals in the endoscopy suite
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow all safety and infection control protocols
• Respond to on-call needs and participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
