As a Centerless Grinder, you will:
Required Qualifications:
Title: Centerless Grinder
Location: Commerce, CA
Duration: 3+ Months
Shift Timings: 3rd shift 9:00 pm to 5:30 am
Pay Range: $29.52 to $35.88/Hr. ($2.50 shift differential)
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Volt is immediately hiring Centerless Grinder in Commerce, CA.
As a Centerless Grinder, you will:
- Set up and operate centerless grinding machines to grind external cylindrical surfaces to blueprint specifications.
- Select and mount grinding wheels and regulating wheels; dress wheels as needed.
- Determine grinding parameters such as speeds, feed rates, and number of passes.
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions to determine part specifications.
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure tolerances of ± .0005.
- Perform first article inspections and maintain accurate production records.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine machine maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
