Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for experienced Special Education Teachers to support students during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a variety of classrooms within the Charleston County area, including surrounding munities near North Charleston, SC. Both in-state and out-of-state licensed educators are encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching license (SC or other state)
  • Experience working with diverse student needs and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Strong classroom management and munication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families

Location: North Charleston, SC and surrounding areas within Charleston County

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities, adapting curriculum and teaching methods
  • Implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in pliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and provide progress reports
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
